He is a member of the Italian Atherosclerosis Society (SISA), the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS), Gold Heart Member of the AHA and FAHA, and the International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS). He has served as member of the the International Advisory Board for the XV and XVI International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS) Symposiums. Professor Zambon is currently a member of the EAS the Executive Committee.
