He is Editorial Board of the Journal of the America College of Cardiology, of Editorial Board of Journal of Diabetes and its Complication, and senior editor of Nutrition and Diabetes. His H index is 71 in Scopus and 80 Google Scholar. He is member of the Italian Society of Diabetology, of the European Society for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), and member of the Italian Society of Endocrinology
