Catriona Jennings is currently an Honorary Professor at the National Institute for Prevention and Cardiovascular Health in Galway where she is Director of Nursing and Interdisciplinary Relations. She is coordinating the international INTERASPIRE Survey of Preventive Care and leading the development and testing of the INTERCEPT app designed to promote self management in patients and partners post ACS. Previously she coordinated the EUROACTION trials and EUROASPIRE surveys at Imperial College London (2002 -2019). She also teaches on masters programmes at the National University of Ireland in Galway. Catriona was a Senior Teaching Fellow at Imperial College London where she had a leadership role in postgraduate Programmes. She completed a PhD in 2013. Catriona has taken leadership roles in professional Societies serving as President of the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care and Chair of the ESC Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions.
