Associate Professor Anna Shevelyok

Anna N. Shevelyok, MD, PhD, is a graduate of Donetsk National Medical University, Ukraine. She has been practicing as cardiologist since 2006 at the V.K. Gusak Institute of Urgent and Recovery Surgery, selected as one of the top 10 hospitals in the Ukraine. Dr. Shevelyok's practice specializes in the care of patients with atrial fibrillation, arterial hypertension, coronary artery disease and heart failure. Her interests also include sudden cardiac death and secondary aldosteronism. She is also a clinical associate professor at Donetsk National Medical University and is a senior fellow in the Department of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at the V.K. Gusak Institute of Urgent and Recovery Surgery. Dr. Shevelyok is currently serves as medical consultant to the Donetsk Emergency medical center. Currently, she is a member of the Heart Failure Association and European Heart Rhythm Association. Dr. Shevelyok is a prolific scholar, having authored 3 books and over 30 published articles.
