Dr. Winnik is a board-certified cardiologist and clinical researcher with a special focus on heart failure and cardiac rhythm management. He was trained in Zurich, Leipzig and Boston, and spent several years abroad. Since 2018 Dr. Winnik is a lecturer at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and as of February 2022, he serves as Chief of Service of the Division of Cardiology and Angiology at the Zurich Regional Health Center at Wetzikon, Zurich, Switzerland. His research focuses on cardiac resynchronisation therapy.
