Professor Philippe H Kolh

Pr Philippe Kolh, MD, PhD, trained cardio-vascular surgeon, is Professor of Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of Liège, and CIO at the CHU of Liège, Belgium. A scientist, university hospital administrator, and physician, with strong experience in information technology, bioengineering and non-profit organizations, his background involves experience in funded scientific research, and he has served on several scientific advisory boards. The author of >250 peer reviewed publications, he has given >270 lectures. He is EIC of the European Journal of Vascular and EndoVascular Surgery (EJVES), Associate Editor of the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery and Editorial Board member of the EHJ. He served as Chairman of the ESC/EACTS 2014 guidelines on myocardial revascularisation and as member (2010-2016) of the ESC Committee for Practice Guidelines. He has been President of the Belgian Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery and of the Royal Belgian Society of Surgery.
