Magdy Abdelhamid is a Professor of cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He is the Immediate Past President of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC) (2018-2020) . Board member of the EgSC
Dr. Abdelhamid is an interventional cardiologist with over 30 years of experience in the field . He has a special interest in coronary artery diseases and heart failure .
Prof Abdelhamid had a certificate from Harvard medical school for excellent performance and successful contribution to the program of heart failure at Brigham and Women’s hospital , 1999 .
Prof Abdelhamid is currently the chairman of working group of heart failure (EgSC) ,Prof Abdelhamid is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) ,Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and was awarded a Diploma of Fellowship, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCP) of Glasgow on February,2019 . Prof Abdelhamid is an Editorial Board Reviewer for the ESC HF journal and EHJ case report.
