Doctor Michele D’Alto was born in Italy the 24th Jan 1965. He graduated in the 1990 as MD at University Federico II, Naples, Italy (with honor’s degree); in the 1994 as Cardiology Specialist at University Federico II, Naples, Italy (with honor’s degree); in the 2003 as PhD in Cardio-respiratory Science, at Second University of Naples, Italy. From 2008 to the present is Professor of School of Cardiology at “L. Vanvitelli” University of Naples, Italy. He is the Head of Pulmonary Hypertension Unit at Monaldi Hospital, Naples, Italy. He published about 170 peer reviewed papers (more than half in the last 5 years; main fields: pulmonary hypertension and congenital heart disease), co-authored 10 books of Cardiology and participated as principal investigator in 20 international multicenter studies in the last 10 years. Dr D’Alto is Editorial board member of the "International Journal of Cardiology". He is a trained invasive cardiologist, electrophysiologist, and expert in echocardiography.
