Tuomas Kiviniemi is an interventional cardiologist in the Heart Center, Turku University Hospital and Associate Professor of Cardiology in Faculty of Medicine, University of Turku. He worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School 2018-19. Tuomas does research in Clinical Trials and Cardiology as well translational research on cell biology of atrial fibrillation. Their current projects are 'LAA-CLOSURE trial' and 'CAREBANK' study.
