Associate professor at the Department of Cardiology, Medical University Plovdiv, Bulgaria from 2008 to present. Professional training includes a variety of courses in the field of general cardiology, exercise physiology, imaging, invasive cardiology. One year Research Fellowship at the Division of Cardiology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA in 2002. 50 publications in specialized medical journals, 23 in English, 50 participations at national and international conferences and more than 400 citations Member of the Academic council of Medical University Plovdiv, member of Bulgarian Society of Cardiology, Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology, ESC, American College of Cardiology President Elect of Bulgarian Society of Cardiology - mandate 2018-2020
