Doctor Terrence Ruddy

Dr. Terrence Ruddy is a clinician scientist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He is past University Chair and Head of the Divisions of Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa. He is Professor of Medicine and Radiology at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on the development and validation of cardiovascular SPECT and PET imaging He has published extensively in the top cardiovascular peer reviewed journals with over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, held continuous peer-reviewed grant support since 1987, given over 400 presentations at scientific meetings and trained over 200 residents and fellows in Cardiac Imaging and Cardiology. He received the SNMMI Hermann Blumgart Award, FSNMMI, MASNC and the Canadian Association of Nuclear Medicine Lifelong Achievement Award his many contributions to Nuclear Cardiology.
